HeARTS (Domestic Violence Outreach)

HeARTS stands for Helping Abusive Relationships Through Support and outreach. The HeARTS ministry is dedicated to bringing awareness and resources to victims of relationship abuse. People are sometimes unaware that abuse takes many forms: emotional; physical; sexual; psychological; elder; and domestic. Also, it is not limited to marital relationships – it can be dating, workforce, and familial. There are flyers on various tables throughout the church and in the office with information and numbers to call for help. Watch the bulletin for future opportunities to help or learn more about the ministry. Efforts are also made to provide educational resources as well.
